Okay. So. What is it today...let's see....oh, that thing called television. Riight.
Most of you would have heard or seen of the 'official' cancellations that happened today or recently yes?
The notables for me.
Law & Order, Numb3rs, Ghost Whisperer.
Law & Order (FIRST ONE OF THE L&O's EVER!)
Well, I haven't watched this one for a while, though the detectives seem okay...I knew it was losing popularity to the Criminal Intent and Special Victims Unit versions. Having a UK version beging fairly recently probably didn't help thing too much either. All those long running shows seem to be going. This is the American version of the cancellation of the British 'The Bill' both had that look that it could last 'forever'.
Numb3rs
People knew it was happening which is sad but its had a fairly good run. I will miss those boys and the dad (from Independence Day).
Ghost Whisperer.
First off. Do you guys want to know how I found out about this one? Keep in mind that I *do* watch this show, and while I had thought it was going to end ages ago, this has now been a little bit of a shock to me. My radio alarm woke me up, and lo behold whilst I lay under the covers with a pain in my lower abdomen (somewhere around and in my uterus) the fact that 'Ghost Whisperer' had been cancelled made it into the news broadcast of a 'pop' music channel! So, YES. I woke up to the news of the cancellation! :( But saying that, its had an incredible run I only now feel worse because Jay Moher (sp?) who is on Gary Unmarried, well that show got cancelled too! So he can't come back to play in the Ghost Whisperer 'verse nor have his own show. I really liked Professor Payne on GW. They say there's still a possible chance of it getting picked up by another channel but I won't hhold my breath, its easier to think it gone for now.

I think I'll toss in here that I saw a bit of Law & Order: CI tonight, I *had* to watch Captain's scene. I am kind of glad I knew beforehand...he didn't deserve it, though I am glad that they made it a 'super secret' under cover op, not a rogue agent. Dick you're killing your shows, especially Criminal Intent. No more older partner of Chris Noth's character then TAKE AWAY Chris Noth, then the two females, Ross, then Goren and Eames later? Seriously. Didn't you realise what happened to your first show? I know I adore Jeff Goldblum, but he cannot hold one show up by himself when its a procedural. I'm sure you have 'great' plans for it and the 'newest' new girl partner, but I'm sick of seeing all those female detectives walk in and out, not to mention you make them seem so similar -not just with their looks, its hardly helping. I haven't really watched season 8 at all. So perhaps my subconcious is already saying its 'too late for me Dick'.

Book front.
Spirit Bound I did finish it.
Read it. READ IT. Read IT.
Quick version: Nice -> Slow ->slow ->mini-fight -> slow -> faster -> faster ->curious news -> faster faster -> epic fight! -> more curious news, whilst being fast -> yes! the characters I wanted to be back RE:fortune teller -> faster -> WHOA. -> knew that would happen -> end on Hope and Despair. Isn't there anything better to end on?
Richelle writes plot in this one, which I like. This books doesn't feel like a love story like the others there is guilt/denial and PLOT. +She doesn't harp on about 'what they are' -which is good considering that we've already read the other 4 bloody books about time Richelle. *rolls eyes*
borg_princess you want a quick 'spoiler' highlight to the right of this, I am including it because no one seemed to have really spoilt this bit before hand, which is weird considering. Dimitri does get saved by a Spirit user.
But this book is more than Rose/Dimitri, its about the whole stake of the Vampire world unity, pun intended. :P
