The things I do to you

Dec 17, 2011 02:45

I actually got a fair bit done today. I wrote the letter, sent it via fax -have no idea if it actually got there because though I was meant to call to check but I had to go to the optometrist. Will leave it up to fate (or typing the correct number) to see if I'm still doing the same next year or not. So got my eyes checked for this year (apparently no change, though the young guy testing seemed a bit lenient or did things differently to others). Went grocery shopping. Helped make a christmas cake (though I don't really like them much).

After dinner brother and I caught up and watched the Doctor Who Children in Need Special 2011 (inclusive of Christmas trailer -two weeks this Monday for me! One week, two Mondays away. Sorry, what was I thinking? Woo!) and CSI: NY episode 1 season 7. I know, I finally caved, my first episode without Stella. Oh, lo. I cried. Not for the reasons some of you may be thinking, and definitely for the reasons some others of you may be thinking. XD For new friends, I usually cry when someone (in real life or otherwise) cries, so...but I don't think the character actually cried... which was almost more heartbreaking. Brett Tucker! I cannot say it makes up for no Stella, but. I liked his accent in this better than in NCIS.

Yesterday I was a bit out of it and I realised today that I did cave and make this rememberer_fic. Yeah. I don't know if anyone will come, but its there. I don't even like the show that much tbh. I guess just anything to promote Kevin Rankin more. It probably will end up like franti_love with nobody but me...oh well.

Talking about communities. getyourwordsout is now open for membership next year, a community where you aim to write as much (or more) than you pledge. They never have to see your work, so why not give it a try?
