Just in. 5 minutes ago (literally) on the other side of the world (for me, you might be sitting there tweeting it...if so i'm jealous of you) the Queens Tournament in England finished the lead up to Wimbledon. I was not going to post about it at all, but then i somehow came to be looking at the numbers of the match in the middle of the night and it ended so...here i am.
Andy Murray (great britain) won against James Blake (usa) 7-5 6-4
I like them both...but i would have preferred James to win. haha. I actually stumbled across Andy in replacement of Andy Roddick in England to send a postcard to a friend back home, he was the one that looked the most similar...then he became a bit more known out here in Aus. So my friend and i have that joke. Now that he's won a home tournament the papers/press in England will be buzzing! They've had a long drought at winning their home tournament (Wimbledon) that whenever he Murray wins a match they get excited...talk about pressure!
He's pretty good after all he has beaten Federer a number of times, but he hasn't gotten a major yet...is it his time? It'd be nice to win at home wouldn't it? Though any win would be ecstatic of course.
Last exam tomorrow today tonight. 6pm? Eghh. o_O
