MS Readathon and environmentally friendly pads

Okay here's a thing for you guys and in return a little input on my idea would be appreciated. ;)

So. klingonlady  did an excellent post about feminine hygiene products mostly focusing on re-usable and/or more organic ones. I've always wondered what products were out there since reading The Lioness Quartet by Tamora Pierce but you don't see them in your average supermarket. So its a really interesting read! Its over here. When I have a job I'll look into getting some to try out most definitely.

~~~
Now, another thing I've always thought about (well by 'always' I just mean a long time, I don't think I came into this world thinking about books and feminine hygiene products....or did I?).
Ever since primary school I wanted to participate in the MS Readathon in school! And then high school and then it was too late. Last year or the year before they started the Adult version, MS Novel Challenge. Same idea as the original sign-up ($10 registration fee that goes to MS Society!) read as much as you can in a 30 day period and raise as much money for the Multiple Sclerosis Society!
If I do this (I'd choose July or August for my reading month) do any of you other Aussies want to join in too, as a team? There's a secret prize for the most team members apparently. We couldn't be 'Team Awesome' because that's already taken but, still we don't need to be *that* obvious. ;)
They have a few lists of books to choose from to try and read as many in the month as you can. I also have a list that I started and thought I could try if I participate.
So a poll (because what else do I love more?). I'll list the book lists here and then you can pick over them. :P The lists are over here if you want to check out the covers or blurbs. From 'Old School', 'Young at Heart' and 'Because We Said So' I have read one of the books already but that's it!
