Armageddon Melbourne announced their initial full line up (bar one MAJOR -their word not mine- guest that still needs to sign a contract and pending as usual any cancellations) on their Facebook page today. They'll be up on the site tomorrow

I like those people, but not enough to pay money for photos/autographs, etc. Well, maybe Mark Sheppard, cos Canton was pretty awesome. If I was a bit more into Sanctuary than I currently am, then Amanda Tapping would probably be a bit more enticing.

Heh. Okay. So I know you've been busy with job and house issues, but what were you thinking (or discussed with Edy) on the Egyptian and Warehouse/Eureka events?

Yeah, I'll see how I am with money come Armageddon, maybe spring for a photo with Doctor Who people just for my little collection if I can spare it.

I probably would be more likely to go to Sydney for the Warehouse in Eureka con, just cos I can go up on Friday evening after work, spend Saturday there, then get an evening coach back that night and save money on accommodation and stuff.

I reaaaaallly want to get to the Egypt exhibition, and would probably go on my own if it came to that, but whether Edy was able to come with me would depend on whether he gets another teaching contract next term. Not to mention my mother mentioned recently that she would also love to see it but my dad isn't all that keen, so I said she should come with us, but she was all, "Oh, no, I wouldn't want to annoy you and Edy." But I don't want her to miss out so I might mention it to her again.

And damn, I just checked the Armageddon website to check the dates it was on, and it reminded me Mark Sheppard is also in Warehouse 13, which led to going and looking up those episodes, and now I'm all, "Oh, hey, I liked him in that, didn't I?" Dammit.

What does Edy teach?

Haha, that happens a lot. He is very awesome, he's guested on a lot of shows. <3 At least I don't have to decide until the last minute that week if I want to meet him or not.

He teaches secondary English. He had a contract, but he resigned from it cos he was having a really sucky time at the school. He's fairly confident he'll get something next term though.

Bah, lucky. Nothing happens in Canberra. (Says the girl who is quite happy to live here for a long time to come).
