Yeah I hear SPN fandom can get pretty talkative. But I don't really watch it so I never got too many friends on LJ who watch & talk about it. Though I do have a couple now..

Aah! You mean you're unable to download the episodes or you prefer to watch it weekly on TV?

I started out watching Castle as it aired on Belgian TV - but they were a couple of episodes behind and after the 2x17 cliffhanger there was NO WAY I could wait an entire week for the next episode so I started downloading them and following the US schedule rather than the Belgian one. I'm an impatient kind of girl. :')

It must really suck to see everyone going crazy over the latest episodes when you're still at the beginning of the season-ish. =/ I'm sorry if my post did not help the situation much. *pets!*

Kind of both? I generally prefer to watch the shows on tv and I try to leave off downloading as much as possible.

Sometimes we can be pretty close behind, but for some reason this year they did not start airing Castle at the beginning of the year when Bones also started (which they aired after one another here last year) so for Castle we ended up quite a few episodes behind.

No that's not you. Don't EVER feel bad about what you post on your journal regarding how far you are ahead. Unless you post a tonne of spoilers outside of an LJ-cut then I might possibly get a little mad.. *pets you back*

Ooh, that makes sense! :) Some shows I prefer to watch on TV and others I watch online & then usually I buy the DVDs when they come out because I feel bad about downloading if I really enjoyed a show.

I'd probably watch more shows on TV - but my TV is super tiny and ridiculously old? I got it for my birthday so I could watch TV in my room when I was 15 or something. :') When my parents divorced I moved in with my mother and my TV ended up coming with us. *laughs!*

Ack, it sucks that they started airing Castle so late! There's an upside to that, though? I'm sure to start showing Castle-withdrawal symptoms soon while you'll still have half a season of episodes to look forward to every week? *grin!*
