First official fic recommendation post
I'm sick, tired, and should be studying or sleeping. So just a post that I've already written some things for.
Okay first two are ones that caught me by surprise as in I knew I'd read them, but if anyone else is into those shows I'd like them to read them also to see what I see. The second lot are just great in general and should really be read by those that know the fandom/characters.
Lot 1-
~Title: Operation: Wedding in Vermont, NCIS, team fic but shows my Gibbs/Tony pairing and Abby/Tim, rating G.
Why? If you've ever wondered how or why I see this pairing this is one of those that does it without explaining it. So I guess its a light introduction to them? Also, its in McGee's POV and I don't feel we see that too often in fics. Writer calls it Crack but I really only see it as crack less than half of it.
~Title: Just Another Wednesday, NCIS, team, gibbs/tony, abby/tim, rating: mature (some sexual content).
Why? This is the accompaniment to the first fic above, though its a sequel it gives a bit of a prequel to the story so far too. If you don't like sexual content you can either skip those bits or just not read it, as long as you've tried the first one. ;)
~Title: Piano Player (1/?), Glee, Rachel, Brad the Pianist, rating G.
Why? I have so many ideas about Brad its hard to understand sometimes. But this fic came along and did something wonderful and sad and believable all at the same time. Brad's POV is so removed yet interwined with the Glee club and thus Rachel one can only wonder where things might lead.
Lot 2-
All fics are on the same page/link by the same author here. More like little drabbles inspired by songs.
1. I Wanna Make You Close Your Eyes -- Dierks Bentley {Life, Charlie/Dani}
Why? Another very well done post-'One' ficlet. Sleep deprivation gets to us all.
2. Lips Of An Angel -- Hinder {Castle, Ryan/Esposito}
Why? This is more like bromance rather than slash, but either way both still have girls but they still depend on each other.
9. Dog Days Are Over -- Glee Cast {NCIS LA, Callen/Kensi}
Why? Callen being Callen. And Kensi being Kensi. Yes there is also Deeks, Sam and Eric too if you wanted to know. But for me, its mainly the show between Callen & Kensi that is being told. Just an amusing little scene. Also. Furniture!
There is also The Mentalist, 4400, Breakout Kings, Sanctuary, V, The Losers, and V again fics over there.
