Second post, yes.

Long day was okay. If I die at least I can say I got to play with E. Coli? *shifty eyes*

How come nobody told me that Kari Byron got herself a Twitter account when I was away? This is good news! Well, in my mind. Though I need to keep an eye out for Mythbusters and catch a few episodes, haven't in a while.

Also, convention news.

Hopefully. It sounds pretty big for you. :) Its kind of less exciting for me this time round.

Yeah, but I just got news (The Hub thing) which is a few days old after seeing all the good news and now I am worried I won't see Eddie...

Rather big, yep. :) They've really gone all out this year.

Sad. :(

TBH, there's no one I'm hugely OMG!MUST!SEE for the Bris Supanova. Only the Sydney one.. Morena and Sean. *jealous of Sydney peoples* Though yeah.. definitely a bunch of guest stars who I do quite like. :)

Okay fair enough. Its kind of the same with me and Supanova this year. If I don't get to see Simon Pegg and Nick Frost there's only Tom Felton and Julie Benz there that I'm kind of interested in. Have no overwhelming urge unlike my first convention last year to get auto/photos, but then again a photo with 'Draco' would be kind of cool... and now Isobelle Carmody coming along. I'm still planning to volunteer so I might miss them all or not, depending on break times.

Yeah, there's Julie Benz, Tom Felton, Katee Sackhoff, Tahmoh Penikett, Clare Kramer, Tony Amendola, Peter Williams and Trent Jamieson who I am vaguely interested in seeing, but.. no burning desires either this yr. So will see how things go. Head to the Sydney one if we can afford it. If not, just go to Bris and it should be an awesome day even without the OMG!SHINIES!

Also, volunteering? I did that once. They asked me if there were certain guests I wanted to see and worked my hours around then. So you should be fine there. :)

And def get a photo with Tom if you can. :D

Isobelle Carmody.. little jealous. I quite liked Obernewtyn.. only read the first book, but still.

Yes, should be good even without absolutely adored people. The atmosphere is one main thing I think. :)

*nods* :D

I haven't actually read that series yet, I've read some of her other books though and like them.

Yeah I don't really know half of those guys. I didn't even really know Katee until she appeared in CSI right now as a re-occurring guest role. Since I don't watch BSG and original SG much.

Also, you probably won't have time or want to but Channel 7 are currently holding a win a PS3 a day competition. You can enter after getting the day's code word by watching any show on their catch up service Plus7. There's a whole load of shows, including Doctor Who (season 1 to 2!) It's on for a few weeks yet. That's a ridiculous load of PS3's to giveaway! O_O

Yep yep. That's true.

:)

Truue. Well yeah. First book, Obernewtyn? Good stuff. Slow start, but then yesss. You won't put it down once the start is over.

Katee was in SG-1? o__0

Oooh. That would be so cool. Only we can only access 4 SBS channels... so.

:)

Yep, I have a friend who adored it and was (is) so frustrated about the last book not having come out. Whilst I'm waiting on her last book in the other series! :P

No, sorry, I just meant the other sci-fi shows I haven't seen seem to have all the other people listed at these conventions that I don't really know/care much about. XD

What? You watch it online...that link is the service. And when it come up with the code (when you are watching a show there online) it comes with a pop-up box to enter the competition...

Or do you mean if you won a PS3 it wouldn't be much use? You can buy a PlayTV thing which gets digital channels and you can record using the PS3...the service might be better for digital? Or you mean with digital you can only get 4 SBS? You might be able to do something about that, to boost signals etc. We have problems with a few channels...

Hehe, funny how that works out.

Ohh. Got you now.

Hmm.. online. 'kay...

No, PS3 would be good. But.. yeah. I dunno.

What I meant was we only get 4 channels on our TV and they're all SBS.. Haven't played around with it much to get other channels.

Yep. :)

Yeah, I know streaming isn't your thing as such. But I thought maybe one episode here or there and then you're in with a chance of getting a PS3 *shrugs*

Is it digital or original analogue?

xfirefly9x March 21 2011, 13:11:44 UTC
Possibly, yeah. Streaming is.. not my thing, but we get 500gb a month so it's very doable with downloading too. Might give it a go.

No clue lol. Digital, I think.. but..

Whoa, that's a fair bit. XD

Okay. Yeah, I'm finding that digital signals are a bit tricky sometimes..

I just keep watching that girls video. /hypnotized by the twirls and beat.

Yup. :)

True. We may not have set it up right, or issues with it. *shrug* Doesn't matter too much.

Hee. I watched it about 3 times straight when I first came across it. XD
