Flying down the highway

This post is pretty pointless, I should be asleep.

Mainly to say I have ten entries until I get to 600 posts. *nods* Thought that'd interest you.

I only half-looked at options for my timetable today, ended up being dragged out to do gardening with my brother and having my first face to face in my backyard dealing with red-backs. One tiny one freaked me out and then we found a much larger one on the underside of a crate we had to use to put the grass and things in to carry to the bin. We (brother) got it away, and we (brother) killed it, I (yes me) was made to squash the already dead body with my foot as I was wearing gumboots.

We ended up having dinner out tonight last night as dad (for the first time ever that I can recall) locked his car key in his car when putting shopping in and we all went over to bring a spare set of keys and have dinner there. It was okay. At least I didn't have to do much drying up tonight.

Bernard Tomic lost to Rafael Nadal in straight sets. But not without scaring Rafa first in the second by snatching a 4-0 lead. WOW.

No Aussies left in the draw. (At least in adult singles) Haha. I have ground passes to it on Australia Day, I wonder if I'll see an Aussies play that day.... maybe an exhibition or legends match? Junior singles?

So anyway. I survived my first of many red-back encounters to come (I'm surprised its taken this long to be honest. In Scienceworks and Museums you were always extensively warned of the dangers of your own backyard.) and have just over a week's worth of entries to hit 600. :)

As you were marines f-list, as you were. I've been watching too much JAG, honestly.
