Blue spindles, green spindles
Weekend report. I've been trying to post more regularly recently. So boring diary type entries are sure to abound (like this one).
I didn't do much so it's not that long.
I played tennis in what was more than a month! Ah was bliss. Even my shoulder muscle which hampered my serve and volleys a little, hardly hurt during ground strokes. :) And i played with a friend from high school who left in year 12 so that was good too. Plus it was on en tout cas courts...my very home tennis surface! Heheh. Oh, it felt so good to be playing tennis again, no matter how poorly i moved my feet or how pathetic my serves and volleys were. And that is the beauty of playing a sport you like just for fun not the competition. Though i must admit i tired my best at times to beat my friend seeing as she does not play tennis as competitively as i used to, but she's bee playing far more frequently than I ! All my friends seem to have 'taken' tennis up! And it makes me so annoyed/sad/angry sometimes....i hear they've played but i haven't in aaages...but i don't let on. I wouldn't ruin there fun. Yes. I know. Play with them then. I have. That's the only reason why i have payed more than zero times just this year. But it hurts to wean off something you've been a part of for soo long. Some days i look out at the sky and realise its a perfect tennis day! It's sad. :/ Other times i pass tennis courts....and think if my club's tennis lessons are on or not i guess if its raining. haha. And i miss the social interactions of it, more boys ;). Not to mention sometimes cute men play on adjacent courts in summer and you know they're not the professional kind....they take their tops off to play. :P
Almost an entire decade i've been playing. wow. Half my life. Yeah i know i'm fairly young. But still. It puts things in perspective. I am going to aim not to give it up entirely, i'll keep it up somehow....
Sunday: I slept. Couldn't sleep all night. Woke up at 2:30pm! Then realised it was 1:30pm! God Still was strange to wake at that time.
And holidays soon! 3 more days!!! :D
I might be going to see family in Sydney during the Easter weekend. But that also means i don't get to see my closer cousins during the Easter weekend. :( Good/bad. and then i have a week off from uni!!! It's gone so fast. The holidays will go fast too no doubt. :(
Oh well they're still to come!
