Okay first thing. Philadelphia Grand Jury (I think they've probably been my new favourite band with Michael Franti and Spearhead for awhile now...) as I have said (I think?) have been nominated for an ARIA this year! :O In 'Breakthrough Artist' and its being held tomorrow! I think they won't win they are up against both Amy Meredith (I like them too) and Washington (and her too I like) so...
Because I’m sad that I can’t be there right now (yes they are playing at the Corner Hotel TONIGHT) I am spamming BUT they are in my town RIGHT NOW PLAYING LIVE AT THE CORNER HOTEL! Seriously right NOW. So. I'mma spam y’all with their music and other things. To make up for it. Somewhat.. Yes, the American accent in this Australian band which lives in the UK is very strong, apparently it’s easier to sing with an American accent, lazy world huh? ;) *love all you Americans friends of mine*
I really really love their new song 'Save Out Town' but they haven't got a free copy and the music site that I saw the link was broken. Oh well. One day I will buy it... I sat listening to the new video today (because the awesome old dude who was playing drums for them had to leave the band) with the girl. And really they (the two males) look like they should be on The IT Crowd or Flight of the Choncords or som'fin. :P
