Mixed bag post for 401?
~ First off (though I don't know if they'll see them, I haven't heard from either in a while...) happy birthday wishes to beandelphiki (I thought of you the other day in my Philosophy class btw) and to moonsdreaming both have birthdays on 13th of September (a few minutes late but its still the 13th in the US).
~I'm feeling a bit more like a budding journalist or something media related. Had a guest lecture by an Associate Editor to The Age (newspaper) today Shaun Carney, and since last week I was in the same room as Jason Steger (also does a column for The Age) I feel like a shadow journalist or something similar!
~Cut my upper gum this morning with my nail... *facepalm* I cut them later today since I want to have easier movement typing tomorrow in my journalism test/media release..
~Watched ep 5 of Covert Affairs will post thoughts on first ep later. But still thinking it slightly weird that Mohinder from Heroes is looking so dashing and not turning evil, plus i've gotten over the fact that Henry of Ugly Betty is there (was that even his name I forget?), Mohinder bugs me more. No Amber this ep. :( Next ep there is I see.
~No more dreams have been had on that front for those who wanted to know ellen_cullen and nas_101 . Sorry to disappoint.
~I was going to go ask for character references today, but ended up chickening out...damn it its not even my old school teachers these guys aren't going to ask as many questions as to what I've been up to. But still. I need to go either tomorrow, Thursday (morning or afternoon) or I can't ask them probably. Since I've got late night Wed and need to get ready for a friends birthday party Friday...
~And of course the US open has not finished or more accurately has not even started the final because of inclemental weather. Still. GO Djokovic! (And Nadal.)
