I have a date on Saturday. But first things first, I need to turn in my library books.

I was an unintentionally awfully bad hostess to Maia yesterday. We had planned to watch A Knight's Tale and Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. (On Tuesdays, 7 day rentals are 99 cents at Crazy Mike's, so we got those two, Treasure Planet, and Thoroughly Modern Millie.) Except, ten minutes into that glorious anachronistic Heath Ledger tale, my phone rang.

Over 2 hours later, I finally got off the phone with the guy. Maia, in that time, had gone off to the study lounge to play Animal Crossing and watch two Russian chicks dance to... I think she said Mexican music.

So we did not manage to watch Jospeph last night. (We did watch Knight's Tale, which is good because there are several parts of that movie I actually hadn't seen yet- owing to cuts on TV for time.)

On the other hand, I'm going on a date on Saturday with a wonderful guy. Sure, I've only known him for a week and a bit, but that's the point of going on a date: getting to know him better. So far he's great. (I met him at Samhain where we mostly talked about lighters, and saw him again at full moon, where we talked about many things, mostly video games though, and then talked to him for two hours yesterday.)

I should really get to class- I'm skipping math today, and I've called in sick to work, but I'm not missing my stagecraft lab. We're doing lights. I like lights! But I don't like this cold that I'm getting, so I don't want to go to work in case I'm contagious (ah, food service), and I'm not going to math because I really don't feel up to it.

*smiles hugely*
