wall of text, that's me

Barring my dad's physical therapists, who come at the worst times possible and the whole "having to do the dishes, make the coffee, and lots of household chores" thing, I have been having some amazingly good times of late. I still am not getting good at seeing other people besides Bailey and his household, but I did hang out with Brittany on Monday, and once my work schedules settles I should be able to do more with people who work more normal hours.

Highlights, why not?
Last Friday: "I'm drunk, and downtown, and you should be too!" And when I followed Bailey up on that voicemail, we ended up drunk at a casino, where he invited me to Amsterdam next year. It delays our being able to move in together, but I can certainly deal with living with my parents for a few extra months so I can save up for such an amazing trip.
Saturday night: got a ride to work with co-worker Chris, who is super fun, maintained my ranking as #1 in training after an assessment, and after work got picked up by and went to the Reef with Bailey, where I ate a breakfast burrito so big that on
Sunday: I didn't need to eat a thing on our trip to the zoo despite skipping and walking-as-fast-as-possible-in-the-wet and generally waving my arms like a toddler going "LOOK! GOATS! OHMIGOD THAT ONE'S A UNICORN!!!!!!!" and "Look look look jellyfish! So many jellyfish!" Also, BABY TIGERS. I'm still thinking about putting up pictures, but I'm lazy and tired now so not yet. I put up a few on deviantART (I'm cowgirlscholar there) and if you have me on Facebook, you can see a lot more there (but no alot), but I haven't put them here yet.
Monday: Spent most of the day driving my mother places, then got home and just as I was starting to read Room (an amazing read, by the way, if you can deal with reading child-in-peril situations I highly recommend it) I got a text from Brittany, asking if I was still coming over. As soon as my memory kicked back in I said hells yes, and proceeded to watch the first 8 episodes of Avatar: The Last Airbender. It's amazingly fun.
Okay, so Tuesday and Wednesday weren't that interesting- mostly just normal workdays. Nothing awful or especially noteworthy, and sometimes that's good enough. Wednesday was my half-birthday, but I didn't do anything fun. Whatever. It works.
Thursday: Verizon gets the iPad, and I finally got a 100% on an assessment! Yay!!! So excited. Plus, my work schedule post-training was finally confirmed. I'm not getting into details here- too easy to stalk me already, you know- but it's a good schedule, one that will allow me to go out with my friends a lot more often, do grocery shopping after work at the stores I like, not just the ones that are open 24 hours a day, and generally be more in time alignment with Bailey than I am right now.

Still to come:
Friday: get to see Bailey for a moment while I buy a sandwich and pick up a shirt I'm borrowing from him, so that I can be a zombie at work and have the fake blood covered shirt.
Saturday: Zombie Prom after work! Well, assuming I can get there in time. If not, other downtown shenanigans with my boyfriend.
Sunday: Maybe zomBcon, maybe not, plus Halloween events galore!
