Please notice I was careful not to list shows that I wish were still around to entertain me but are gone (I'm looking at you, Wonderfalls and Pushing Daisies), only shows that will come back, eventually.
In happy news: Going to Hempfest on Sunday with Bailey! Plus it's National Go Topless Day so I might help them demonstrate for awhile- same park as Hempfest.
In my wildest most-deliberately-ignorant-of-the-facts dreams, I want to start a restaurant called "Deviled" that makes the classic dishes with deviled in the name, twists on those that are still kinda close (like deviled eggs with different flavors, or devil's food cake with cayenne and cinnamon), and then "deviled" dishes like the one that I invented in my head- you take a chop (the bone is for stability), punch out the center, cube it, toss it with spices/sauces/whatever, and return it to the hole. Like you would take out a yolk, you know? I'm thinking maybe trio of chops with the accompanying salads/vegetables placed in the curve of the bones to emulate yin-yangs, but that's a bit cultural-appropriation-y, no?
Yesterday I made a delicious apple cake, by tossing cut up apples with sugar and spices and baking them in a cake pan while I put together a white cake doctored with spices. Then I pulled out the hot apples, glopped on the batter, and baked it like normal. Super yummy.
I think I'm going to go make some pepperjack nachos and eat them with grapes. SO into grapes today. Don't ask me why.
