This is not from yesterday; it's from zombie day. But it's a good introduction picture.
There were two deer right by the trail, I think a doe and her fawn. Bailey waved at them and the fawn picked up his front leg and pointed it towards us.

Look at the mountain. Look at it! It is so gorgeous. We got to the park right before sundown, so the light was amazing.
This is a really big mushroom. I'm not sure there's much more to be said.
This is Myrtle Falls, if I recall correctly. It's the first waterfall you come to when you're walking up at Paradise.
This is, artistically speaking, not so great a photo. But holy crap look at that stuff that's the tops of clouds! I was up about 5600 feet above sea level, and it was quite cloudy down below the mountain.
I love the mountain ever so.
