Rhet 1101 is a joke. It exists because UTD doesn't feel we freshmen are adult enough to be 18 yet and enjoy the comforts that the United States government wishes to shower on us. So far we have had seminars discussing everything from correct study habits to how to use the UTD library to how to get good credit to how to deal with roommates to academic dishonesty. Today's lecture was over rape. I said "rape" but really it was over "how men think they are better than women, but in reality, are far surpassed by women" and "how men are likened to apes in almost every respect". Perhaps the most one sided, useless, 1.5 hour man bashing session ever performed, and im not excluding feminist meetings from this category. Also, since the first day we came here, a very cool cat has frequented the chair on our porch. He was so cool we called him Porchy and he was our cat. Porchy stopped frequenting our porch about 2 weeks ago and we found out today that a cat that looked like porchy was found BEHEADED behind our apartment complex. The following periods represent a moment of silence for this really awesome cat...........................................thank you.
