(no subject)
Cleaning the closet, and I found a whole bunch of old CDs that surprisingly survived my mom's constant efforts of throwing 'useless' stuff away. So, yeah, I now own a bunch of classical CDs my mom had back when she taught music. I was all happy until I put what said "Tchaikovsky" on the CD case into the player and it turned out to be Beethoven. >__> Then I realised that the CDs in the cases were all jumbled up, and for some reason they didn't think it was a good idea to at least label the CD itself, so...yeah. I had to listen to all of them and put them back in order.
The fact that we only have 3 school days this week is pretty awesome, but the fact that Mid-term is in 2 weeks, not so much.
Also I just had my first piano lesson in years yesterday, and wow, has the syllabus changed. Part of me regrets that I didn't take the exam years ago like I should have, it's so much harder now. My old piano teacher scared the shit out of a 12 year old me on the difficulty of grade 8, not a very smart thing to do, I was traumatized for years D: And I feel like a douchebag now, because I would've finished my grade 8 in form 2 had I continued. Gah.
