Mm, after playing some of the Professor Layton game I got (Pandora's Box) I can say that I'm still able to go gaga over that other game, but not because of the professor. The characters are boooooooooorrrrrrriiiiiiiiiing.
I realize that the story is mainly a means to take you to the next puzzle (STOP WITH THE GODDAMN MATH PUZZLES GODDAMN YOOOOOU), but I'm a pretty easy to please gamer - it's really bad when I don't care one whit about what's happening to these characters.
