JDRF Walk

Oh my god, I had the best weekend ever! Jason's mom, my mom, and Jason's family friends came down to San Diego for the Walk to Cure Diabetes at UCSD. We all went out to Coronado on Saturday, walked around the town window-shopping, and then we had lunch at the Del (which was wayyy too expensive, but hey, the cafe was beautiful.

Afterwards, we walked along the beach and towards the end, we saw dolphins playing in the waves, which was awesome. We drove to Old Town and toodled around (of course, we had to stop by the Games shop where Jason looked at RPG books), and I bought some salt water taffy, and our parents had margaritas. Then we drove to La Jolla and had dinner at this French cafe called My Place which was really, really good--I had this artichoke baked penne pasta which was DELICIOUS. Then they dropped Jason and I off at his apartment.

We were both exhausted from being out all day, but we ended up having really, really amazing sex! :D Ahhhh, it was the best sex I've had in a while, maybe ever...I don't know if he was in a really good mood or just wanted to pamper me. I was moody and weepy earlier in the week, feeling a bit insecure about something he said last time and asking him how I could make sex better for him. He said sex was great and there was nothing I could do to make it better than it already was, and I responded by asking him to express his enjoyment during sex instead of hiding it. Well, on Saturday night, he was enthusiastic and appreciative, complimented me and made me feel amazing--and he went down on me for the first time, which was completely unexpected. It felt amazing, but mostly, I was just really, really touched that he did it without me asking him to. It made me feel really good inside, like he loved and accepted my body all over, and the thought of that keeps giving me butterflies. :) And then when we made love, he was really into it--not "strong and silent" like he usually is--he expressed his enjoyment and did everything I had asked, treated me like a goddess, and it was basically the most passionate sex we've ever had. Ahhh! I can't wait until I see him again next weekend. He's an amazing guy, and he's so good to me...he's my diamond in the rough.

Anyway, enough mushiness...:)...the Walk to Cure Diabetes on Sunday morning was cool. There were all these cute little kids and dogs and it was fun to feel like a part of something. We all went out for coffee afterwards, and then they had to leave. It was great seeing my mom, and we (my family and Jason's) have more or less decided to have Thanksgiving together, which is going to be a lot of fun because a lot of Jason's family is going to be there (and I like Jason's grandmother a lot).

So yes, this weekend was bomb. :D
