Tough crowd. In my opinion, "There's enough cake here to kill a horse!" is the funniest comment ever to not get laughed at. Also, the fact that it actually made a congregation of about 15 people go absolutely silent for about 3 full seconds, makes it one of the highlights of my life.
My grandpa died at 5 this morning, so the nursing home where he was waiting to die called our house and woke my dad up, and he proceeded to wake the rest of the family up at 8 because he was tired of sitting around by himself feeling bad and wanted to have breakfast with the family. I felt really bad for him. I'm sure it's not a good feeling when your parents die, no matter what the situation. I didn't know what to say to him, but I guess it was enough to just get up and sit with him and eat my death ommelette.
Well, after stumbling through breakfast half awake, I went out garage sale shopping with Matt. Basically, Westmont was the garage sale equivalent of Mecca today. There were so many it was ridiculous. Matt got the greatest hat ever. I got a new cell phone.
Then, ARC wrote 2 new songs.
Then, I went to dinner with my family.
Then, my family went to Wisconsin and left me alone in my house and I proceeded to fall asleep, only to wake up around midnight, well rested with nothing to do.
rough day. exhausting.
I guess the rest is going to be boring, lonely, and dark because it's midnight and I just woke up from a 4.5 hour nap.
