DREAMSCAPE DESCRIPTION MEME

Alright!  So I know some people have been putting their Dreamscape description stuff in their journals as OOC comments, but I figured that it might be a good idea just to have it all in once place so it can stay a bit better organized.  So this is why this meme is here!  So here is what you do!

1.  POST DESCRIPTION OF YOUR ( Read more... )

Killua's Dreamscape

The intruder is faced with an old stone hallway. There are only two doors, one at each end of the hallway. No windows, no force exerted can break the walls; in short, no where else to go. Both doors appear identical from this hallway.

The door on the right leads to a torture chamber. Shackles and weapons line the walls, chains clang in a nonexistent breeze. The entire room smells of blood. In the center of the room is a device used for hanging someone by their wrists. The chain for one of the wrists has been snapped and is resting on the ground below. Lining one of the walls on some wooden tables are several misplaced objects scattered amongst the torture devices that don't seem to belong in a room like this. A sharp cane, a coin, an overly-decorated Victorian style lady's hat, some scraps of triangular-shaped paper, an anime figurine, a cloth sign that reads, "One Day, One Kill," a small pin, and a three-pronged chair. Touching any of these items will allow the intruder to hear the voice of the owner of the object as if over a loud speaker. What the voice says defines what Killua remembers strongest about that person.

In the far corner of the room, half hidden in shadow, is a giant, hellish dog. Get too close to it, and it will try to eat the intruder. It will keep trying to eat the intruder until he or she runs out of the room and shuts the door behind him/her.

Through the left door is a child's bedroom, but from the moment one enters, it's clear that something is off. The room itself is neat and yet nothing inside of it looks neat. It's as if the owner of the room has broken everything inside at least once before spending time to painstakingly put everything back together again. Leaning against the bedside table is a fishing rod and a backpack, while on the table sits a wine glass filled with water and a floating leaf along with a Hunters License. Littering the entire room - floor, bed, toy chest, everywhere - are stuffed plushies of people. Some will be recognizable from Adstringendum, others won't be. All of them are in varying degrees of disarray.

Several in particular include a plushy of Gon with its arm torn clean off and amateurly sewn back in place, a blond man with long hair in a similar state except its fix-job isn't complete, a dark haired woman with fish-like attributes and hair wrapped around her throat, an octopus with over half of his tentacles sewn back into place, a magician tossed carelessly onto the floor for people to trip over, and a young brunette who looks to be squished under the weight of several books.

Name any person Killua has ever met outside of the Zoldyck estate, and there will be a plushy version of him or her in this room. It's telling how, despite the state they're in, he has yet to get rid of a single one. Like the items in the torture chamber, touching any plushy will reveal to a person the most distinct thing Killua remembers about the person in audio.

Next to the toy chest is a mirror. Looking into the mirror will not get a person a reflection. Instead the person will be able to see Killua in the mirror, mimicking his/her actions. The Killua in the mirror will talk, though it will say nothing but condescending, rude, degrading, and depreciating comments, and the words it speaks will sound suspiciously like it is rehashing something someone has told Killua before. Turning from the mirror to the fishing rod will instantly silence it, and an image of Gon will take Killua's place, issuing adorable words of praise.

Mirror!Killua is also not adverse to popping out of said mirror and making a mess of things.

Touching any seemingly nondescript objects - the torture devices, the chains, the fishing rod, the wineglass, etc. - will offer the intruder a complete memory rather than just audio. But pick which item wisely because the onlooker will only get to experience one memory before the dog in the torture chamber or Mirror!Killua will get in their face and chew them out. Literally.
