Interesting that you pointed that out. I suppose I'm a bit of an optimist and live with my own brand of superstition about life. I mean... if the Mormons can create their own, why can't I?
I'm currently compiling a book on my theories about existance, circumstance, and absurdity.
hmm... not sure where I'm going with this. Into Cecelialand.

i'd have to say i'm a mesh of pessimism and optimism. sometimes i'm overly pessimistic about the world, but i can't help being optimistic about the human race itself. we'll always pick ourselves up.
overall though, i don't think chance exists. everything relies on everything else. some unknown agent just can't be thrown in for the hell of it.
and hey, if you ever finish that book, i'd be interested in reading it.

It's interesting that we seem to have similar ideas about "unknown agents" and such. But you leave things open to possibilities.. and I think that's great. I know too many people who see the world in black and white.
I think we are all a bit of a cluster of optimism adn pessimism... and sometimes we aren't quite sure how we feel. A very numbe generation a times.
But you know.. so many things excite me. Like today.. I'm about to post about my mini adventure. In the midst of superstars and dying heroes, I notice the little thigns that just ... are. Like the wall paper in the coffee shop tonight. It was a moment of silence and contemplation for me.
