Inauguration day flashback
So poor Daniel is trying to cheer me up. He reminds me of how happy I was on inauguration day. To tell you the truth, I can't quite remember everything about that day, other than the fact that I was really happy. I was also really sick, bronchitis with a high fever.
But Keith Olbermann had a (really great) special comment about Dick Cheney tonight, which made me remember a conversation I had with the boys on inauguration day:
Orion: "Is that Dick Cheney?"
Me: "Yep."
Orion: "Why is Dick Cheney in a wheelchair?"
Fenris: (Without looking up from the Lego he's building) "He probably kicked a puppy too hard and broke his hip."
My kids are so damn cool.
