The future is a fucking freight train just barreling towards it's next target. Relentless and frightening. The people are on the sides of the tracks screaming, "Get out of the way, don't let it hit you". Some louder than others. But you're a dear in the head lights, mezmorized by the movement, light, wonder, awe. It's all too much to take in at one time and the next thing you know... PLAM! You're plowed over never to return.
These trully would be the best years of our lives if not for having to figure out a long-term plan and keep laying down track for the train to travel on. It's disgusting, you're constantly having to out run the iron horse with it's metronome-like chugging. For what, though, exactly? One day, you'll run out of track and you'll get plowed over anyway. But I guess in order to be a functioning member of society you must continue this mindless quest.
It's so fun to put off responsibility. So fun to never have inhibitions. It's so wrong to put those off too. Everything is just another confusing maze that we have to deal with.
