I feel fooled, and I think I know why. At this age the world tells us we're indestructible, and we like the believe it. We can do anything that we set our minds to; we can rule the world, and all should bow to us; there is none greater. We can do anything. And then we find our beliefs shattered. That one tragically unfortunate turn of events that's like cold bucket of water to wake us from our foolishly ignorant dream. Once again life has to slap us in the face to get that ridiculous jargon the world puts in out heads. This is going to take a while. Learning the hard way hurts the most, yet I fear it is the most effective. Damn life. Goddamn life.
