The Follow Up

The bad thing about big weekends like that last one is the amount of content it has. It took me three long entries just to get down the general story of it. But the real charm of the weekend was in the details. Big weekends are full of them, but I can never include them in the entries otherwise it would be more like 10 entries instead of 3. You can't get the stuff like how the pool hall played a bunch of old and really bad songs (with the exception of Karma Police) like that Shaggy one "It Wasn't Me" (I thought I'd never have to hear that god-awful piece of crap again). Or how the flight paths of our balls at the range was as arbitrary as Conan O'Brien. Or even the banter during the card game and how Liz bit her lip whenever she had a tough decision. Or the mysterious and new Vietnamese food that I courageously ordered. That's the stuff that made the weekend great, and yet hardly any of it makes it to the entries because of me forgetting or being lazy and thinking no one in their right mind would read 10 entries about a weekend in Clovis (myself included). Well I guess that just proves you can't fit the quality of life into an online journal entry. Lesson learned, yes?
