I got up the next day strangely a little early. It might be because of how wind it was. I open my eyes to see out the window the tops of trees bending and swinging in the wind like no other. I got up to take a shower and about ten minutes after I'm done the power goes out. Lucky, eh? No one else could take a shower before church (once again Kayla's shower habits is not satisfactory). The church we went to was not the O'learies' normal church, and much to my dismay, the service sucked. I walked out about 3/4 of the way through before they took communion and after I decided I needed to go to the bathroom and stretch my legs. It was alright though because I ended up talking to some of the college girls who were working the coffee bar and thought by the look of my shoes I was from Europe. I chuckled and said no, just LA. From there we went to the brunch at Marie Calendar's with the whole family; it was delicious goodness. Not much happened after that. I did some homework; the girls watched West Side Story; Keith took Liz to get her belly button pierced (such a waste). The story was actually a bit amusing with the big snake and the well-tempered druggie and all, but no need to go into details. I will say this though, the place was called Insane Asylum. I and Katie left for home around 7 and, making the trip in a record 3 and a half hours even with a couple of stops to switch drivers, thus ending our weekend trip.
