even if you're 80, you'll always be my baby.
well, my weekend was pretty good, i'd say.
spent it with my mom and sister and little man. which was nice.
friday, they came over in the afternoon. my mom cooked dinner for us, which was great. yum. my sister and i played board games most of the night.. guess who, then like 4 hours of life. lol. but we had fun. then my mom and i played chutes and ladders and hi-ho cherrio for a while. so not much of a thrilling night, but it was really fun to just relax and have quality family time. doesnt happen very often. so it was good.
saturday, we hung around here in the morning. i made breakfast. we went over to the mall to look around for a while. then we went back to my sister's and then to lori's [her in law's]. i helped my mom cook gumbo [mmmmm!], which was nice. i wish that i'll be as good of a cook as her when i get older. i want to be able to cook for my family like her. so we'll see. after dinner, we watched the first part of "king kong".. then we went back to my sister's, and i just completely crashed. i'd been up since 6am cause of bryce.. he's adorable and cute, but he wakes up so early and damn he's hard to keep up with now lol. he crawls all over, gets into everything.. man, i don't envy my sister. lol.
today, they actually let me sleep in till like 10am. lol. pretty late for them. we came back here to hang, then my sister brought my mom back to the airport. i'm always sad to see her go back home, but i'm glad she got to stay for a while this visit. i just wish i got to see her more often. i miss my momma..
so now i want summer to get here so badly. i miss seeing my mom.. i miss my friends.. my house.. my cats.. jasper.. my whole life back home. so i hope i have a really great summer. like last summer. it definitely had it's ups and downs.. for sure.. but it was mainly ups. it was just good all around. and i hope this one will be just as good, if not better. i'm excited for a few things already. june, get here already!
i've been so tired lately. i think i'm getting sick. which sucks major ass. i hate getting sick at the beginning of the quarter. ugh. sucks. i'm crossing my fingers it's just in my head. at least i hope so. man. oh well.
