countdown to friday.
it's tuesday. blah. at least monday's already passed. i just want this week to pass by fast.
well the weekend was pretty good, i must say.
friday night, ben lee!!!! so amazing. pretty much all i can say. the opening woman [can't remember her name] was really good, i liked her. really chill. then it was ben. we snuck our way up front finally, after getting in front of the 6'3" girl in front of us. geez. he was just so awesome. sang all sorts of stuff. he's so funny. it was just so much fun. and being there with megs made it all that much better. and i really liked chop suey. i'll have to go back there sometime. i really really want to go see tristan prettyman on thursday, but i shouldnt be spending the money.. and i have a ksub meeting that night. ahh well. maybe next time. i have pictures on facebook of ben lee and such if you wanna see them.
saturday, didn't do much. played raquetball with shiloh for a while. of course kicked my ass. and my face. lol. he accidentally sent the ball right into my right cheek. ouch. but at least i'm getting better at my game. woot. the rest of the night i pretty much spent cooking and baking. i made chili and cornbread from the stuff my mom sent me. i'm getting better in the kitchen, i must say. i even baked cookies afterwards. i'm just such a suzy homemaker, aren't i? lol. later that night, i met casey and becky at linda's for a couple drinks. good times.. good times.
sunday, same ole same ole. bummed around here most of the day. watched "walk the line" with kristen.. then went to sarah's for the oscar party. good times. i didn't win the oscar pool. of course that went to megan. but oh well. i still had fun. i was surprised at a few of the wins. i was sad joaquin didn't win, but i was thrilled reese did. awesome.
yeah. so i hope the next 3 days go by in a flash. cause friday.. SARAH COMES!!! i'm so happyyyyyy! even though it's only a few days, it means a lot to me for her to come here.
