I'm home!
Christmas was a good day. There is always that feeling of blehness after Christmas, because life goes on, even without the christmas radio, the lights, and the holly jolly.
We had a white Christmas = awesome. It started snowing a bit after noon. And it came down pretty hard. Every few minutes or so, in the midst of opening presents, someone would exclaim "It's snowing!" as if to reassure everyone that it indeed was still snowing, and on Christmas no less. But of course, the rain has washed it all away. It is supposed to start snowing again. Yes!
Well, the parents (er... Santa) finally caved in and bought us a game system. Our big present was a Wii, complete with Harry Potter, Zelda, the usual Wii Sport games, and Guitar Hero III. Rachel and I played GH till our eyes bled. We're trying to convince the rest of the family to let us take it to College, they can have it back when they visit us in February. We'll see...
Christmas was good. I'll miss the season. But there are other things to look forward to now. I'll be meeting up with old friends in the next few days. I'll be working on my major application. I'll stop in the salon to visit and get my hair cut. I'll be spending time with the family. Then it will be back to school. Classes are looking good for next semester. And skiing will also be in order. New skis for christmas + Sundance Season Pass = joy.
