A lot of things have been letting me down lately. Things I have been counting on have failed me. But its ok. Cus the things that I really care about haven't let me down. Some things I still gotta work out, but I have faith it will. Sorry, I know... I am being vague. But I don't want to be too personal, its too complicated.
I must say, though... I have gotten a little nervous for college. Its coming closer and closer, and I dont know if I am really ready for such a big change. I gotta live it up now, because I know that after I start college, life will never be like how it is now ever again.
and I like Life right now. I do, it's good. Today, I took Naomi to the park for like 15 min (waiting for Mom and Hannah to be done with Orthodontist so we could go to the M's game) and that was really fun. I dunno, it was just me and Nomes, but it was SO sunny. And you know, it was just one of those moments you just gotta live. so we did.
and the Mariners game was great. It started at 3:35 so it was in the sun and we were soaking it up and not to mention the M's won 6-4. we went on Monday too cus that was Opening day and even though we lost we played some good ball, and then we won yesterday. We are doing alright, ya know? i'll go with it.
So yeah, I've been taking advantage of the sun being out. Yesterday was a fabulous day as well. Makes me miss the sun. As I was outside, participating in various activities (trampoline with a bajillion neighbor kids, shooting hoops, skating, playing with Boone dog) I remember thinking "gol, I wish the night wouldnt come for a long while. I just want to be in the sun" because who knows how long this weather will last? and I miss Arizona, wanna go back real bad.
Well me Stephanie and Kelsey finally recorded some tunes. One of steph's songs, a fun, sunny, upbeat tune that is fun to listen to and its about me so even better hehh. And we did Island in the Sun by Weezer... We were gonna do a couple more but it was General Conference (which was fantastic) and so we really didn't have time! we just needed to record those takes so we could send it in to one of Steph's friends that is hooking us up with a gig for a benefit concert in Mercer Ilsland. it gon be the illest yo!
