Nice and busy day today. Kristina and I went and looked at two more places. One was in Auburn Hill *cough* Pontiac! *cough*, and the other was Manitou Lane apartments in Lake Orion. The place in Auburn Hills/Pontiac was a dump. Even with everything included, it was not worth $600 a month. It was in a old run-down motel building, and it was very small. My place that I'm living in now is so much nicer than that place, and it's cheaper. Kristina was very right when she said that we would've made it look better just by living there. The lady that showed us the place was old and had a hunch back, but she was very nice.

So after being a little creeped out from seeing the place and the lies we decided to go scope Manitou Lane out. Just by pulling into this neighborhood I knew that I would love to live there. I got excited when I saw the basketball hoops, and Kristina can feel perfectly safe going out and running through there. I can tell that we're both going to be pretty active this summer, and going to get a lot of sun. :) The managers couldn't be anymore great. It's a married couple, and they seemed to really like us.

They showed us a 1 bedroom and a 2 bedroom. Both of them were so nice, and they even offered to lower the price on the 2 bedroom for us. But we decided to just go with the 1 bedroom (which they lowered the price on as well) that went from $580 to $510. You can't beat that. I wish I would've knew of this place before. There are a couple of downfalls though. One of them is that there is no pets allowed. So Kristina can't bring her cat Fluffy. And also the 1 bedroom doesn't have a dishwasher unlike the 2 bedroom. Damn I've been wanting a dishwasher for so long. :(

We also found a car for Kristina. A 1990 Oldsmobile Cutlass Ciera. This thing runs amazing. OMG, I seriously think this thing runs better than my truck. It's older and has more miles on it too. The guy is going to hold onto it for us, and is also going to sell it to us for only $600. I was amazed by all the nice people that we dealt with today. And finally some good luck is swinging our way after all the crappy days we had to go through. Kristina is going to try and get her parents to co-sign for a loan to get this car. So if she's able to get a loan for a $1,000, we got her a car and will be able to put down our security deposit on the apartment.

Tomorrow I have to get some money from Bomber that he owes us. I will also get my security deposit back from this place after I move out which will help greatly. Another good thing that happened today was I got a message from the tax place saying that they had a amended return for me to pick up. Which I'm assuming means that they fixed that problem I had with the state saying that I owed them $500. Kristina and I tried to get a loan ourselves but they declined us, since Kristina has no credit and my credit card is nearly maxed out. That was about the only thing that got to me today. So you can tell that my day was very good today. I can tell too by the way my writing is all over the place. Since I started writing this entry so many that happened today keep running through my mind, and I'm just writing them as they come to me.

We ate at Dairy Queen and tried to eat it outside but it got a little too cold for us. We managed to do all of this before she had to be at work. We even were able to fit in some very good celebration sex. :D

Sorry about bragging so much. I guess I don't get to do it often. But I finished the day by going to my mom's and doing some laundry. I filled her in on everything that's going on, and we watched American Inventor (which is way better than American Idol) :P She also bitched about my dad not helping me out again. It doesn't really matter to me. I'm pretty much used to him not helping me, that I'm to the point that it doesn't bother me.

But anyway, I've done a lot of writing and I have to work in the morning. I still have to shower.
