People outside the technology industry don't quite understand the scope of Ian Murdock's contributions to the world. The internet is a big place. It has about a hundred million servers on it. As someone who has just begun to devote all my studies and focus into CyberSec through academics and self-teaching, it just makes me weary and more self-conscious about what I say or what I do because I certainly dont want to jump the gun too early and get killed or jailed before I obtain a stable level of skill and self-sufficiency to be able to exercise freedom of speech. Until then, it looks like I must play the game of the left and pretend to be one of them as long as I am a student and still mastering the fundamentals of this craft.
I agree with you. Revenge must be applied at a brutality ten-fold upon the first petty attack. there is no other way. Look at what happened to al-alsad for trying to reason and negotiate with the enemy? The enemy is a savage and only recognizes/responds to those who commit acts of greater savagery. To kill a wolf, you must become a lion.
in the meantime, as long as this corruption rules the world, outsiders who eventually want to rip out the hearts of the wolves herding the sheep, must first pretend to be good sheep going with the herds and blending in until he has acquired the power and leverage to step outside of it (openly). Otherwise, an outsider is too vulnerable and as you have insinuated in your essay, such lonesome "conscious" sheep are executed, jailed, "suicided" or ostracized/villainized among the "unsonscious" majority of brainwashed sheep who can and will never know free-thought in this lifetime.
Even voldemort knew to blend in perfectly with the herd his enemy, as a lonesome "conscious sheep" (keeping all of his true intentions to himself). only after he had established his own skill, power, and army was it safe to exercise his real interests.
