oh yeah, i left out a fun little tidbit about this evening. so i went to a party with diane b. and kyle. it was pretty bad. it was in quite a small apartment that was really full of people who didn't really move from the spot they were standing/sitting in except to get a drink really quickly. and it was all grad students from the uci english department, a lot of which were quite odd, and a few were pretty pretentious. just to give you an idea about some of kids that were there...the guy who the apartment belonged to had a huge, human-sized piece of japanese art in that style that uses the same kind of brushwork that's used to do kanji (geez, and i took asian art history...) but it was of SPIDERMAN. awesome. anyways, so the apartment was like 1/2 the size of mine and there were like 25 - 30 people in it and they were all standing/sitting in the same spots, talking to the same people. so, we ended up kinda stuck in this corner right by that picture. i finally edged my way onto the patio (which was so small that is was totally full with 5 people) to have a ciggie. i'm standing next to the hottest guy and he keeps looking over at me, and ends up talking to me, complementing my piercing in a sincere, original way, etc.. this is the hottest guy that has ever talked to me. total fashion boy with messy hair; very english. but i'm so shocked by the situation that i act like a little bunny in the headlights and fuck it all up. yep, i'm once again an awkward 13-year-old.
