I'm feeling the same Lostness you are, so I totally understand. I still am so listless about not being on the ocean. Didn't think that would happen, but it did. Strange.

Sucks that standing calf-deep 60 degree Lake Michigan water is just no substitute for jumping seven foot swells by the beach.

yeah see last night Jim and I went down to christ place and I could see the lake it jsut wasn't as cool. I think I will have another drink and remember the good times when we didn't have to work for a week, were we soaked up the sun while drunker then...then... well you get the picture... So, when's the next trip? hehehe....

Well, the lake is something. It's not the ocean, for sure, but it has it's own special allure. I feel blessed that, even if I can't live near the ocean or someplace warm, I get to live near one of the world's greatest cities.

But there's something really special about an Outer Banks eXperience, isn't there? Everyone seemed to catch the bug just like we did. I can't wait to go back.

I agree we live near one of the greatest cities in the U.S. and are blessed to have all of these resources at our disposal. But still I am bitten by the Ocean bug. Maybe we should go see Jeff and Lindsey and see the other side of the ocean. That would be cool.
