Near the Campground [Tuesday Night]

Kyle felt sick. He'd had a stomach ache before from drinking bad water, but he'd never felt anything like this. There was a tight pain in his gut, his hands were shaking, his head was swimming and he'd all ready thrown up once tonight. It didn't seem to help, other than to add a burning to the back of his throat. His jaw was clenched and he was sweating profusely as he tried to shut out the pain.

Habit told him when he was sick to find a quiet place and lay low until it passed. If he'd been with the Resistance, Kate would have hauled him in and told him what to do, but Kate wasn't here. Kyle headed for the treeline, looking worse for wear and trying to avoid everyone.
