Talked to the roof guy
The guy who was coming to check the roof left a message at 7:45 which I didn't get until 4:30ish. I called him back to see what's what.
Apparently when they went up to check the roof, they spotted the problem immediately. There were no shingles, just exposed plywood. o_O Yep, he's never seen anything like it. They took pictures.
So, they fixed the problem by reshingling the area and the next storm will tell how well they did. Hopefully that will be that.
