Summary: Inspired by prompt at comment_fic. Today's theme was "cliffhanger" so be prepared for no resolution. The prompt was Castiel/Dean, "don't look down". 505 words. Crossposted to sn_fic and supernaturalfic.

( The end was over, and the Winchesters were still standing. Not necessarily whole, but still standing. Life, such as it was, was reverting to normal - that did not include angels. )

I'm such a sucker for Dean touching/petting/feeling Castiel's wings. This was beautiful, thoroughly enjoyed it.
