Srsly WTF?
I don't watch Desperate Housewives, but I've seen commercials and read tidbits in entertainment magazines about the changes they're making for this season. It makes me very unhappy that to reflect the change in Gabby's life...in order to show how far she's "fallen" from fashion model to stay at home mom...her daughters are chubby.
Daughters. Her daughters. Her both-under-the-age-of-five daughters. This REALLY bothers me. If you want the adult actress to put on a fat suit - whatever. But don't make an attempt to point out the mother's supposed failure at life BY MAKING HER CHILDREN FAT. The pictures I've seen of those girls are adorable!
Gabrielle's daughter Juanita (Madison De La Garza) unsuccessfully tries to wear a dress that's too small for her. Gaby's in denial about her daughter's weight issues. Danielle Baltodano appears as Gabrielle's other daughter, Celia.
Are you KIDDING ME?! What the fuck is that?! THE GIRL IS FIVE YEARS OLD! Do we really need to go there with body image and the mother projecting all of her psychotic issues on A FIVE YEAR OLD?!
This disturbs me in ways I am not really able to put into words.
