I have come to love summer television
I've found my new favorite show. You've all watched Falling Skies on TNT, right?
Oh Falling Skies, it's like you were written just for me. It's not enough that a rag-tag group of human resistance fighters have to deal with an alien invasion, because that would've been enough. No, you're also executive produced by Steven Spielberg which makes me so happy!! Because Steven likes to deal with family and create moments. *happy sigh*
So we've got a father with three sons. (Again, reading my brain Falling Skies - you know I'm a sucker for fathers & sons!) But, oh no...one of the sons has been taken by the aliens. \0/ I mean...that's so sad! \0/ But it will give father and eldest son a reason to go out after him.
THEN in the very first episode, the Very First One, you give me a fireman carry. As if I wasn't already enamored!! And THEN in the second episode you give me eldest son being threatened and in the classic hostage position. YOU LOVE ME!!!
Also, it didn't hurt that every commercial break included a promo for Leverage.
