Two years ago today, S & I met and it was the beginning of something wonderful :) That being said, we decided to take today off to celebrate and do something original. After sleeping in late, having breakfast together, giving gifts, and smelling the roses (that we each got each other after work yesterday), we took a trip to Brookside Gardens in Wheaton, MD (probably the only nice thing in Wheaton!). The gardens were truly lovely and picturesque in every way. We even thought that it would be nice to someday have a committment ceremony there, or a simliar place. While I can't share the fragrant scent of all those flowers, I did take some pictures of course. AFter the gardens, we had lunch at La Madeleine in Rockville and did lots of shopping before returning home. S is making dinner right now and then we'll be watching a movie rental. (oh, and I'm still waiting on the rest of the seder pictures before posting those)
