Thanks and things
4 day weekends should occur much more often.
That said, here's a summary of what happened during ours:
♦ We played gay bingo with friends. S won a buy one-get one free game of bingo, but since we wouldn't be going back before its expiration date, she gave it away. My coworker who met us there won a cash bingo but had to split it 3 ways and walked away with only $14. I got slightly drunk and had a lot of fun.
♦ We had a huge Thanksgiving day meal with my parents and sister. Food and dessert were yummy. Their puppy seems to be behaving better these days although housebreaking is yet to completely take effect.
♦ We had the leftover Thanksgiving day lunch with S's family and some friends of the family who were visiting. Yummy food again. Also got to see gbcrush and r_is_for_rose who were in town.
♦ We had a semi-Thanksgiving meal with more friends of the family on Friday night, and got to see ticks_cowgirl and company. Made friends with an adorably muppet-like labradoodle puppy at the house. Saw first person make a run towards S and demand to see and touch the belly.
♦ At this point, we were very, very full, but continued eating Thanksgiving leftovers for lunch on Saturday.
♦ Broke away from American food on Saturday night and opted for Italian in Fairfax with our friend B.
♦ Did many chores around the house and frowned at the icky weather on Sunday. Read a lot. Visited people's cats while they were away. Slept.
