End of the week
This week has been interesting and busy at work. Due to the tornado warnings on Wednesday, they shuffled us from our desks to the basement storage closet for 20 minutes. It was amusing piling into the closet, which was a very large closet with aisles between shelving units, and finding a stack of baby chairs which we passed around so people could sit and wait it out. And that 20-minute break was fine with me.
We hired a new guy on the team who starts June 16. He'll be doing similar stuff to what I'm doing, so I'm hoping my workload will be lightened.
S & I have been getting lots of yard work done in the evenings. We think we found the world's best mosquito repellent, too- http://www.biteblocker.com/.
And now for some random Friday questions I found...somewhere:
1. So, baby, what’s your sign? Gemini, and every bit of it.
2. If you could live in any part of your country, with money no object, where would you live? In the world? I really like my current state, so it's possible I would move to a wealthier city in this state. Also possible we would move outside of Boston, since Mass. has legal gay marriage. Or CA...but I've never been there. In the world? I don't think I'd move out of the US, but I could maaaybe picture myself in London.
3. What is your biggest guilty pleasure? I don't feel guilty about my pleasure ;-) Ok, ok...if it truly is something I sometimes feel guilty about, then junk food.
4. Do you have any hobbies? What is your favorite? Is there one you want to try? My hobbies include surfing the web, reading, tv, movies, music, theatre, nature, wine, art and travel. Travelling is my favorite. Something I want to try? Maybe horseback riding.
5. If you were to take a single college class right now, just for fun, what would you want to learn about? Funny, because I'm considering taking a class. I would like to take history (Renaissance or similar).
6. When it comes to shopping at the mall, what is your downfall? My impatience with crowds.
7. It is Friday night. What are you doing? Tonight I think we're going to see Sex in the City. Normally we'd be out doing something.
