Whistling while working
Happy Friday all. It's been a busy, but overall good week for me.
♦ On Monday, we celebrated S's mom's birthday by having dinner at Brio Tuscan Grille. It was a lovely meal with a delightfully small, but satisfying dessert served in an espresso cup at the end.
♦ On Tuesday, we were able to catch up with an old friend of mine that I haven't seen in maybe 3 years. He was in the area for work, so we met up at his hotel and had dinner at the hotel restaurant (not a good idea). But the company was nice :)
♦ On Wednesday, I had my annual review at work. Bossman said I've been outstanding, and I'm waiting to hear if he's able to promote me...
♦ Finally, my department...my whole building actually, is leaving early today to head over to a big meeting. While I'm not looking forward to that part, there's supposed to be a party with food afterwards, so hopefully that'll be a little bit fun.
