I don't want to grow up, still.
Last night, we went to DC to see a show. After getting ice cream at Larry's in Dupont Circle. Larry's has the best ice cream and it was perfect ice-cream-eating weather so...there you go. We saw Peter and Wendy at Arena Stage. The narration was flawless, the music was gorgeous, the design of the show was beautiful. That said, I was a little bored because I felt like I was watching children's tv. Call me old (please don't), but I'm past puppetry and things meant to 'wow' 8 to 10-year-olds. The themes still resonate, and loudly at that, but I'm so used to the story that I've become a bit jaded. Oh well.
