Well, we didn't have too many trick-or-treaters last night...maybe 10-12 groups total. I'm glad we bought a bag of candy we like since we're left with a lot of it. Hazel did her best to scare people with her "big dog" bark....she succeeded in freaking out a little boy. Our friends, C+A, came to visit while taking a walk, as did half of the C+C couple. We all ended up taking a walk together, enjoying the warmer weather.
I found out that S & I are getting the same prize as last year for doing the pumpkin carving- free movie tickets. I have no problem with this, as there are sure to be many Fall & Winter movies I want to see, the first of which is Marie Antoinette.
This is S's pumpkin, which she called "Mouser"
This is mine, which I called "Hammered"
"Hammered" was good stress relief, especially when you have a certain person's head in mind...
S put Mouser up on our A/C unit outside the house
And good ol' "Pete" greeted people at the door
We like to light him with a glow stick
