2. I know that you're going through this weird, confusing and also transformational time right now and it completely sucks BUT just to let you know, you have come sooooooo far with being able to express yourself and deal with your emotions even though you can't pinpoint them exactly. You've learned and experienced and "grown" so much in the past year, yet you remain the very same person. I don't want to be all like "woohoo-emily" because I know you hate that, but I kind of had to.

Back in my day when I turned 18, it sucked. Everyone was like, "Well, it's all downhill from here, what color do you want your coffin?" Everything felt really awkward and too fast but one day you'll be like, "hey, I'm me." The pressure of your age will soon be forgotten and you'll be totally crusing on the "wave of your youth" and realize that this is truly the beginning. It took me like a year but it's a pretty amazing feeling, ecspecially after being suffocated by valley for 4 years.. lol. BTW I'm gonna be 19 in like 2 months.. GEEZERRR.. haha.
