As for life here. It has finally slowed.
UT3 PC hit store shelves yesterday. So amazing to see it actually "in the wild" as it were. It always feels so good to actually see the boxes sitting there in the gamestop.
There are very few of us here in the office today. Most everyone is on vacation already for the week or taking some down time. Still always projects to wrap up and keep going for Engine QA, but I've only had 2 emergencies today to deal with and so I've been able to get a ton of those "little things" done that have been piling up.
I've actually had 2 weekends in a row at home now as well. And with a 4 day weekend coming up I might just get enough projects done around the house to feel like I live there again. The fence just has 1 side of 3 sections left (ran out of planks), the garage is workable if not completely clean, and Misha is going to have her puppies any day now (and there's enough space in the garage for that to happen comfortably). I've had days with my kids and evenings with my wife. It's always hard learning how do deal with one another again after a crunch, but I'm sure we'll get through it again ;)
But yah, the whole point of this post. Thanks again entelein. I do try so very hard to be the kind of friend that I would like others to be for me. I'm so very glad that comes across well to some people.
