(I'm surprised you don't have any comments here. I'm going to assume that everyone is slow or dead. And, from what I've been told, zombies have a hard time typing.)

Anyway. This. I really liked this. I have a weakness for Gerard and Brendon and you pretty much hit all the things I loved here. I would go into detail but I'd just ramble on like some creepy person. The fight with Gerard and Mikey seemed odd, honestly in the way I think about them but also knowing how I am with my younger brother I'd probably want to hit him even if I didn't so I can see the violence being a real reaction. I don't know. Outside of the fight giving me pause there's nothing here I didn't enjoy and I can't wait to see the next part.

Being a rambly, creepy person myself, I encourage creepy rambling in others! I am so pleased you commented. Even more so that you enjoyed it. I had ever such a good time writing it. I mostly wrote it for myself, but figured since it's something I actually finished I'd put it out there in the universe. And having you comment has made me glad I did. I don't even know how I stumbled onto the fact that I LOVE Brendon and Gerard together. And, this whole fic came about because I had a dream that Brendon was a girl. My brain? Is not quite right. The whole Gerard and Mikey fight gave me angst for a while. I talked it over with some MCR lovin' friends and here's what I figure, everyone sees them akin to fluffy kittens and sparkly unicorns. They're boys. I have 5 brothers and no matter how much they love each other, every once and a while there would be a smackdown. I figure Gerard is already cranky from lack of sleep and doing something he feels guilty about. He feels like he took very serious advantage of Brendon here. And Mikey has issues

I don't think I'm that creepy, but sometimes. You never know? I, swear to god, love girl!Brendon. I don't know why but I don't question it either. *laughs* And I can see what you mean about the fight. And while I try not to think of them as fluffy kittens and whatnot, because they are guys and all the guys I know would just as soon punch you as say something nice, and therefore not. At least not always. And, my brother and I haven't ever gotten in physical fights I'm pretty sure the only reason is because I'm a girl and once he got bigger than me we were out of that stage.

I can't wait to see what issues Mikey has though. Or, really, any of this. So I hope you keep posting here, or post to say that you posted elsewhere so I can go there and read it.

I normally don't read girl!bandboy fics- no matter what the pairing or concept or whatever. However, I have this huge, crippling weakness for Brendon/Gerard (favorite EVER). My first reaction to seeing this was "Reallllly?" with a kind of cringe- but it was Bren/Gee, I *had* to read it. And I am super, super glad I did.

You did really well with it, and I liked the Brendon was characterized still Brendon-like, but also with some depth (which is something I like to see in any Brendons)--- and Gerard was absolutely fantastic and adorable.

My only real commentary was that it ended kind of abruptly- I do see that there are more chapters to come (yay!) and that it will be explained there, but it was still a bit off putting as an ending--- but then again, I do abruptness so often that I have no room to complain (lol).

Very nicely written and pulled off.
Can't wait for more chapters.

I'm kinda delighted that this is part 1 of 8, because I'm really enjoying this fic, and yay for there being lots more of it. I really, really like the characterizations in this--so far no one's flat or one-sided. I like the complexity, and I looking forward to seeing where you go with this.
